Mickey Mouse Memories Collection - Disney Store Purchases - Mug - Bottom View
I went to my local Disney Store today for the limited release Mickey Mouse Memories Collection. It is the first of twelve monthly releases to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse. There were half a dozen adults waiting in line with me before store opening, including a CM of the store with two of his young children. I got the plush, mug and pin set. I also wanted to get the ornament set, but they said they didn't have that, and were not scheduled to get any. So I had to get the ornaments online. I also wanted two of the pin sets, but they said they were limited to one per guest. This is my one and only Mickey plush, as I don't collect Mickey, but he is very cool, as I love the older Mickey Mouse cartoons. He stands 15 inches tall to the top of his head, or 16 inches to the top of his ears. He is soft and cuddly, but his skin is like a faux leather. There are small images of Steamboat Willie at the helm embroidered throughout the doll. He can't free stand, and he can't sit up straight either without support. The pins were small and plain, but very nice looking, and for a good price. The mug has a matte surface, and has the same Walt quote printed on the inside as is on the underside of the plush Mickey's foot.
