I just received the LE 1500 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ''Look What I Got'' Cel by Disney's Hollywood Studios Ink and Paint in WDW. It was slightly creased on its left side during shipping. But fortunately the hand painted image of Snow White and Dopey was in perfect condition. The Cel was packaged in several layers. There was a thin cardboard folder (or matte) into which the artwork was placed, secured into slots on the lower left and right corners of the folder. There was a clear acetate cover, then tissue paper over the Cel itself, then the Cel, then the printed background image. There was also an unnumbered Certificate of Authenticity, and a double sided information and instruction sheet.
It was very interesting to see in person how an animation Cel is constructed. On the front side of the acetate sheet is the black inked lines outlining the figures to be animated. They are produced using Xerography. Then on the reverse side of the acetate is the actual colored painting, filling in the spaces outlined by the ink on the other side. You can see how the different colors are applied in multiple layers.
