Cutting - Self Harm

I had a theme united under the concept of Self Harm. I chose five well-known forms to complete this. To further unite the photo's I put them all in black and white.

 

For this photo I chose to have my model looking down at the knife to add mystery AND to draw focus to the knife. I did rembrandt lighting because I thought that that would also add some mystery because much of the face is hidden in darkness. I took this against a black background so nothing would distract away from the matter.
