anything helps

i loved working with this photograph because i had opportunity to really exaggerate the wrinkles and shadows on his hands. i played around with the black and white levels on an adjustment layer and managed to make the hands look old and worn, then enhanced this more using a burn/dodge layer.

 

i also like the aperture, how one hand is in focus and the sign gradually loses focus half way.
