Day 847 - Day 117
Lifetime Dream # 129 of my list of 155: I will build up muscle in my body to maintain a healthy balance of fitness and well-being. I will be able to bench-press 300 pounds and curl 200 pounds, and once I reach this goal I will continue to maintain these measures going forward.
I have absolutely no desire to be anything close to the next Mr. Universe. Biceps that bulge to the point where they look like they are about to pop do absolutely nothing for me. I would however like to maintain a healthy balance of strength, and would like to develop my muscles to the point of being healthy. I obviously have quite a ways to go to reach any form of an ideal weight, and for now I am simply working to tone and do a slight muscle build; once I am closer to my goal weight I will begin to work on this dream!
Note about this shot: doesn’t seem like a technically challenging shot… except that I couldn’t use a tripod because of the angle desired, and the fact that I had to not only hold the weights up for the timer… but hold them very still. Good mini-work out, good exercise in adjusting for ISO and Aperture to get the speed as fast as possible without too much noise!
