Pop-up books
Actually non-fiction information books Y5 linked to DT unit of work on creating pop-up storybooks. We used cardboard boxes to create bookshelves and painted them black to match. We used silver thread to attach stars (from paperchase) to the shelves. Metallic pencils to create the axis. The storybooks were completed once we had finished the year 5 Science unit Earth, Sun and Moon and were a great tool for assessment.
