Dana and Brother
The printing cable stays attached to the Brother HL-5250DN all the time, and to print I just plug in the Dana and hit the print button on the Dana. The Dana is set up is print to a postscript printer - nothing needs to be done to the printer setup.
At the same time, I have the printer connected to my house network via ethernet. Only once, when my wife tried to print at the same time I was printing from the Dana, did I have a problem. The printer hung. Off-on, problem gone.
