Jen is a good friend and a willing and flexible muse. We had a backlog of ideas we wanted to execute and spent a Saturday working through them together.

This one is my favourite of the whole session. Her smile and self embrace show me a woman who feels beautiful and confident enough to celebrate her own body, unafraid to show her curves and rolls.

I'd been wanting to experiment with RGB flashes for a long time, and I finally got around to doing it with Jen. This is lit with bare speed lights left and right gelled red and green and a White Lightning Ultra 600 with the 7" reflector gelled blue behind and above the camera. The blue light was a little higher than the red and green lights. The Ultra was triggered with Pocket Wizards and the other two flashes were slaved optically.

Camera is the Fujifilm GFX 50SII. Lens is a Mamiya-Sekor NB 90mm f/3.8 for RB67 mounted to a Fotodiox Pro adapter. If I remember correctly I think it was set to about f/11 or so. I'm really impressed with the micro contrast and sharpness I'm getting from this quite vintage lens!

Procesed in Capture One Pro and touched-up in Photoshop.
