I found your diary and your sock and want to give them back to you. How did you lose them?
DOBBY:
Nice to meet you, Paddy. I can't believe I have them back. I'm so grateful to you. They mean a lot to me. I was sleeping under a tree and woke up to a screech. I saw a crow flying away with my sock and diary. I was in shock.
PADDY:
That sounds awful.
Why do they mean so much to you?
DOBBY:
It's a long story, but I can tell you that the sock is the ‘Symbol of Freedom’ and the diary is the ‘Symbol of Manipulation’.
PADDY:
That sounds interesting.
I'm glad you're going to have a nice Christmas now, Dobby.
You deserve it. I'll have a cup of Twinings tea with you and Oleg, and then I'll go back to Australia. I'm glad to have met you, and you're welcome to visit me if you want.
