Oblique descension
An elegant,but badly decaying old farmhouse near Minooka,IL.This farmhouse was a showcase in its day with many ornamental trappings on both the inside and outside.The interior boasts elegant wood trim,a spiral staircase,and high ceilings.
For sci-fi movie fans,this farmhouse was used in the filming of last years movie,"Jupiter Ascending".I had watched the movie-which I was not real enthralled with-before visiting this place and remember it well.There is little evidence of the production inside,and they definitely didn't make any improvements anywhere.But it is a stunning and sad place nonetheless...
