Dartford Tunnel Bus
One of five vehicles built on Ford Thames chassis for the Dartford Tunnel to transport cyclists. I understand they saw very little use and were withdrawn after a very short period of time. This was taken in the premises of Don Everall's in Wolverhampton, I seem to remember there was more than just this one present but no idea what became of them although I understand one has been preserved. In a recent conversation I was told there was a problem tilt testing these. The lower section was to carry the bikes whilst the uper deck had seating for 33, bodywork was by Stachan. they carried the fleet numbers TT1 - TT5, and owned by London Transport?
