Shaman Eyes
Ecks is my problem child.
There, I said it. In the past, Lazlo was always my problem child with his mis-matchy resin, his weird shape, his old faceups, and bad mold choices. But now Ecks is my problem child. You would think it would be James, the mischievous one. But nooooo. My kindhearted, "glue that holds the group together" character is the worst in doll form.
First, he took 11 months to get to me. Then I decided I didn't want him to have a beard AFTER his faceup was done. Then his wig wasn't ready. Then his wig didn't fit and wasn't the right color. Then his face was bland because his eyes were yellow-brown. Then I had a hard time fitting and posing his eyes because the openings are sculpted unevenly (this still drives me nuts.) Also, his wig is too big overall and needs to be re-sewn.
But finally, even after all that, he is beginning to look better. His hair is the right color, and I think these blue eyes suit him much better. He's actually starting to look like the Shaman he's supposed to be.
