Time to customise again.
After marking and cutting the changes on the card version, it was then used to re-draw the new pattern pieces to a style as similar to the film as I could manage. I knew it wouldn't be identical, but having never made a corset, 'close' would be good enough!
I cut 2 layers of fabric and drew the boning channels onto the pattern pieces to know how much boning I needed to order. But sewing the pieces together at this stage was the most exiting part as I actually felt I had 'started' the dress.
