ZLSM - E2 1040 @ Eys, 07-01-2023
Stoomloc E2 1040 van de Zuid-Limburgse Stoomtrein Maatschappij (ZLSM - Miljoenenlijn) zal in 2023 nog maar sporadisch worden ingezet en aan het einde van het jaar buiten dienst gaan. De locomotief - oorspronkelijk gebouwd door Nydgvist & Holm in 1910 voor de Zweedse Staatsspoorwegen - werd daarom ingezet voor een speciale fotorit tussen Schin op Geul en Simpelveld. Kort na zonsondergang nadert de goederentrein de Zwartebrugweg in Eys.

The locomotive was built in 1910 by Nydgvist & Holm for the Swedish State Railways and acquired by the ZLSM in 1998. A special charter headed by E2 1040 is spotted near Eys just after sunset.
