Bonsai Rock
On the way back from the Eastern Sierra, Ben and I started to get a glimpse of some awesome high sunset clouds that looked to be spread out over the entire Tahoe basin. Rather than hit Hope Valley on the way back, we decided to see what the conditions looked like at Bonsai Rock or Sand Harbor. About an hour before sunset, we just knew we had to stay and the sunset did not disappoint! We had zero clouds for the previous 2 days and wanted to end with a solid sunset.
We ran into Michael Okimoto, who set up both his DSLR and an awesome 4x5 setup...producing some great looking B&W shots. The blazing sunset was a great way to finish off an epic trip! Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!
