Lonely yellow bird

One last location before starting the long way home: San Michele all'Adige, just south of Mezzocorona. The rail line makes an S-turn here to cross the river Adige. The green bridge is still visible on the left of the photo.

I saw a lot of interesting trains here, of which this is the last one. I was already past the time I set myself to depart, but I think this yellow ex-Dispolok locomotive was well worth the wait. We see 189 902 and Beacon sister 189 909 haul train 43823 from Bremen to Verona.
