Zabrina 007/100
Picture the scene: the sun setting over a weekend music festival and thousands of happy revellers from whom to include in my 100 Strangers project.
Meet the vivacious Zabrina, who makes a point of emphasizing the "Z" (rather than an "S") in her name.
Tall, bubbly and sporting an eye-popping yellow garland, she was an obvious choice as my 7th stranger.
Zabrina's a geography student and was in Coventry to register as a student for the forthcoming term.
Zabrina was busy partying hard with friends, so our time was very limited. Not having started out with the intention of adding to my project, I was without my f/1.8 50mm portrait lens, my reflector and my Moo cards.
Nevertheless, I'm happy with the shot and hope that Zabrina is too (if by some miracle she ever sees it)!
She's backlit by the sun here and if you look closely, you can see the garland reflected in her smiley face too.
NB: This was the first time any of my subjects has ever signed-off by suggesting a "chest-bump". I was more than happy to oblige!
