My first attempt to make a field hybrid from original Sinar components in a reversible manner. I used cheap Chinese macro focusing rails to make a 4x5 / 5x7 camera that is easy to carry around. Turns out the whole thing is not as sturdy and combines as much weight as the classic pack, so in the end I had to move on to other ideas... Based on the Sinar Wolf / Alpina concept.
5x7 (1st generation) and 8x10 (2nd generation) carrier frames. You can see here how this concept could not have worked for the 8x10 P2 frame because of the different indentations on the frame.
