This is a successful modification that allows mounting of 4x5, 5x7 or 8x10 carrier frames in a fast operation, and it is based on the same concept used for the Sinar P1 / P2 rear standards. This is a mere modification of the brilliant work done by "vitality AK" member on the large format photography forum (just type "Sinar F (F1/F2) camera and Sinar P 5x7 changing kit" on google and you'll find it).
Made out of beech wood, this is much sturdier than the previous versions and uses simple modifications on a Sinar F1 / F2 rear standard. All previous movements are allowed and any carrier frame can me mounted / unmounted in several seconds. I have yet to use it in practice...
