‘Mrigaya’ the tune of Tribals hunt festival in ayodhya hills, near Purulia district of W.Bengal and Jharkhand border, india.
The beautiful hunt festival is celebrated by lots of tribals like Santhal, Munda, Khol, bhil etc. in the month of May during ‘Budh Purnima’ they celebrate this festival with dance, folk music, santhal folk music and hen fighting etc.
In my paintings I reflects Indian tribal culture, their lifestyle and festival. I paint in acrylic on canvas and I held an art exhibition titled ‘MRIGAYA’ on 2006 and 2007 in Delhi.
