{150} A ticket to ride?
We had expected rain today and were surprised by the sunshine early on. We decided to give a trip to the Southbank another try. I'm very pleased to say that this time it worked.
We started with lunch at Wagamama's. The new children's menu threatened to cause problems when Joseph turned his nose up at the yaki soba. Fortunately Pippa stepped in and wolfed the dish down while J made do with bits from our plates.
Then we hit the beach ahead of ice creams, general strolling and a short visit to the fun fair. Joe is still too scared to go on even the tamest of children's rides so he spent his ticket at the Hoopla instead. He was really, really taken by the astroturf too!
A good day and as an added bonus "You didn't fall down any steps mummy"!
