Lazy Autumn morning

Dear Diary,

 

Today was what I think I could call as good as it gets (with some rubbish here and there). Woke up early to go feed and groom Abby, but instead of tacking her up I took her to the meadow over by Hal’s Creek and let her free graze a bit.

 

While she pranced around, I whipped out my sketchbook and inked a headshot. It came out so nicely, I think I’ll give it to Simmons. Which reminds me, I really ought to drop by and get my check… If I leave it too long he’ll deny its existence.

 

The rest of today I’ve just been lounging around in the hayloft, playing with Abby and blasting music (zouk). I miss summer already. If only we could learn real interesting things at school…
