Reality 342/365
So, the enormity of decorating a giant tree was sinking in yesterday. We had to get the big ladder out of the garage to reach the "betweens", that is, between ground access and balcony access. Then we didn't have enough lights to cover the branches, requiring extensive travels to the German versions of Home Depot. Where I found out that it would cost between 35-80 dollars for a strand of lights. We also had to purchase a power strip because German lights don't "piggyback", so each strand has to plug straight into the strip. They also come as loops, so we had to figure out how to work them around, then down to the power strip. I was thinking a degree in electrical engineering would be helpful!
