For many years an afternoon service ran to Mosney on the Dublin to Belfast mainline to run round. The station was built to serve the adjacent holiday camp and closed in 2000 when the camp closed.
071 Class no.079 backs onto the train before heading south in October 1996. The station wasn't busy and the door is seen left open for the only passenger...me!
