The Fairy Tree/Burning Bush.

Couldnt decide on a title for this originally had burning bush in mind but just googled hawthorn and according to irish myth and legend there be fairies there for sure.To this day farmers plough a wide circle around lone hawthorn trees avoiding all contact between tilling implement and root for fear of offending the fairies that inhabit the tree, hope i didnt get too close.

This was taken on my third day up here when the first bit of decent light burst through not long after sunrise bathing the foreground in glorious light and the tree looked like it came alive and the bright red berries looked like they were on fire. This is the tree on the left of a previous post taken a few minutes earlier.Nicer on black.

ANYONE INTERESTED IN STARTING A NEW OUTDOOR COMPETITION GROUP WITH EITHER A WEEKLY OR MONTHLY VOTE FOR THE TOP 5 SHOTS MAYBE BASED ON A DIFFERENT THEME EVERY TIME.

I would love to see a friendly group like this but would like to keep it genuine with votes going to the shots that you feel are the best and not voting for who you know.I would like to keep it as natural as possible with no HDR textures or overprocessed shots and also only have people enter on genuine grounds with the aim of commenting on the shots there. No cheesy awards or anything like that (there are too many already like this) just a nice group with those willing to participate.

Anyone interested i dont know how to set these things up or invite others to join.
