PIAZZA DEL POPOLO è il cuore pulsante della città di Ravenna. Da più di sette secoli è sede dei principali palazzi del potere (quello del Comune e quello della Prefettura, un tempo della Legazione Pontificia), insostituibile luogo di appuntamento e di ritrovo per tutti i cittadini.
Nonostante il trascorrere del tempo, l’aspetto della piazza mantiene una sua vivacità a tutte le ore del giorno grazie ai suoi bar e caffè all’aperto: punto di convergenza di molte vie centrali e dunque luogo di intenso passaggio.

THE CLOCK TOWER
PIAZZA DEL POPOLO is the beating heart of the city of Ravenna. For over seven centuries, it has been home to the main buildings of power (the City Hall and the Prefecture, formerly the Papal Legation), an indispensable meeting place for all citizens.
Despite the passage of time, the square maintains its lively appearance at all hours of the day thanks to its outdoor bars and cafes: a point of convergence of many central streets and therefore a place of intense traffic.
