Una delle caratteristiche più tipiche ma meno conosciute di Udine è la presenza delle rogge che attraversano la città e in particolare il centro storico. Molti tratti sono stati interrati in passato, ma numerosi sono ancora visibili e alcuni di quali sono stati valorizzati negli ultimi anni. Le rogge che attraversano la città sono due: quella di Udine e quella di Palma.

One of the most typical but less known characteristics of Udine is the presence of the canals that cross the city and in particular the historic center. Many sections have been buried in the past, but many are still visible and some of which have been enhanced in recent years. The canals that cross the city are two: that of Udine and that of Palma.
