Late night thoughts on Presidents, Generals and Humidors
Continuing my late-night risotto series, this one is made with Swiss chard, raisins soaked in white wine, bacon, roasted onions, pinenuts, two different cheeses and some freshly grated nutmeg as a top note to really bring out the pine nut flavor. With or without the rice, this would be an excellent side accompaniment to Thanksgiving turkey. On the notebook are my cigar humidor designs for Richard Nixon and Douglas MacArthur.
