After 7 days of continuous rain, this is the best outfit I can recommend for the would-be wandering designer.
A heavy-duty ziplock bag not only
keeps moisture out, but with a silica gel beads packet keeps my Moleskine reporter dry so pages don't stick together. The bag folds conveniently after you squeeze the air out and can be tucked into your pants pocket or carried like a purse or held like a furoshiki bag. A Ricoh GRD can be shoved in additional and would still fit well.
Inside are:
1. a see-through ruler
2.Muji pens in my indispensable Asian red and black inks
3. my Chinese seal in a portable plastic case with ink well. $15 custom made in Mongkok or $200 in Tokyo, take your choice but the one in Japan includes the design work and carving of an elderly craftsman on stone. I can design my own logos so I paid the $15.
4. Moleskine Reporter notebook with perforated pages.
5. Traditional soft jelly candies from HK. These candies were a part of my childhood, decades ago. The company now only makes melon and orange flavors but during my entire childhood and adolescence the flavors were banana and coconut which came in a pink box with the soft candies two levels deep and wrapping papers inside to keep them fresh. The banana candies had the most fragrant smell, as strong as sniffing glue.
Would someone please, please post a photo of a box of these candies?
