Poor old gronk

Class 08 no 08529 is looking rather worse for wear outside Doncaster works in May 2008. Possibly it was there for component recovery as the mortal remains of this loco were disposed of at CF Booth of Rotherham in August 2008.

 

08529 was built at Darlington works in 1959 and was originally numbered D3691. It had been withdrawn from service at Immingham (IM) in December 1999.
