Zero Hour!

The 1957 movie the was spoofed in the movie Airplane!, staring Dana Andrews as Ted Stryker.

 

It's a little over the top, but it was pretty good. It was interesting to see where Airplane! came from.

 

There is even the line, "Looks like I picked a bad week to quit smoking."
