Sadly all approaches to the Council who said it wasn't theirs and to the home owner failed.
Note what appears to be an oblong solid or hollow pole.
The sign has now disappeared, pole and all, so presumably fallen over or removed and scrapped. It was in a terrible state and hardly doing its job.
Safe to reveal the location now, Tundergarth Road, Lockerbie, not far out of the centre on the tight left hand bend.
