Fungi Parasol Toadstool Macrolepiota procera

In Studland churchyard this toadstool was nearly 30cm in diameter and seemed to be oozing a red juice. Thanks to people who spend time viewing my photos.

Thats a nice find!

Some of the parasol species exude a brown liquid, mainly from the scales: it could be this, although such species are normally found in wamer areas of Europe

Another option is that mycelium quite often exudes metabolites. This could happen in the fruiting body, in rare occasions.

Finally, it could be excretion from animal/insect!
