Synacra brachialis

A handsome male Synacra brachialis parasitoid wasp of the Belytinae, Diapriidae found under birch in the garden. Additional pictures below show details. Note 'beak-like' long straight mandibles, scape length is one and a half times the eye height, petiole covered in dense pubescence, notauli fully developed.
