Mud mud glorious mud....
...I just can't see the appeal myself! My son's mate got stuck, so Mr Bitofapilchard came to the rescue in his Landrover....and then he got stuck. My son is in the combat trousers.
I was persuaded-against my better judgement-to go with Mr Bitofapilchard and our eldest son to a farm so they could indulge their love of getting stuck in mud. While they enjoyed themselves towing, winching, revving and digging out great clods of mud, there was nothing for it but to get my camera out & find things to photograph to keep myself amused.
