Camping trip highlight
Funny story behind this photo. We were riding along an Extremely bumpy, pothole filled gravel road talking about how there weren't as many bears out and about (one fellow at a local restaurant said the place was Crawling with them!) and I said the only way you would ever see one is if it jumped out in front of you and low and behold, out popped this little one! As soon as he saw us he popped back into the weeds and headed down this steep incline. Glasses off, window down camera trying desperately to focus past the weeds. Out of about 25 shots, this looks (so far) to be the only salvageable one. When he considered himself at a safe distance, he commenced to eating grasses and leaves. We couldn't help but be struck by the irony of our negative conversation considering seeing a bear and this one's sudden appearance! It was a Fantastic camping trip all the way around and I do have more photos to share. Thank you for your patience as I catch up with all of your lovely photos! :)
