A mountain stream
Oftentimes, beautiful paths can't be discovered without getting lost.... I read this on Facebook yesterday and thought it a wonderful quote which really suited us as we turned away from civilized and refined Virginia and went looking for the Really Back Roads. Gravel, one lane and in places almost impassable. There were many of these little streams and I am sure they are much fuller than they will be in August of this year!
