RIP, Michael

I feel very sad today. What a waste.

Michael Jackson was a tortured, conflicted soul, but, as a musician myself, I knew he was also an amazing, BRILLIANT, DAZZLING talent. He brought me and my children hours and hours of joy, fun, dancing, and singing together.

 

It has been so sad to watch what his "handlers" were doing to him over the years. As someone on TV just said, "It's a tragedy that we all didn't take care of him better."

I suppose we all knew he wouldn't survive to a ripe old age, but he was only 50 and I keep thinking about the lifetime of music we all missed out on because of all the insanity around him.

 

RIP, Michael. The pain is gone.

I was completely amazed, and thrilled by your music, as I am again this morning.
