Porcelain Jazz
16 oz Pot Belly Stoneware Mug
These hand thrown stoneware, pot bellied mugs have been a favorite of mine for a long time as they hold their warmth in a cuddly form. The five shown here were done in a gradation of sky and earth colors : terracotta, wheat and a lavender, green, blue sky. Texas, especially the Panhandle where I come from, is big sky country. From this comes the name for these Texas sized mugs which are great for chili, soup or enough caffeine to keep you going strong all day long.
Their volume and size vary from 16 ounces and 4 1/2 inches high to 22 ounces and 5" high. They are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe.
