Feedback from day four: Thursday 26 May, 2011

By a mile, today has been the busiest day of the week! In saying that, however, it is also the day that I spent the least time at the office!

It is Wellington Stage Challenge day, and I am a manager of Onslow’s production. My job required me to help with the administration and running of our performance, as well as trying to keep everyone happy – on both sides of the show! The full on nature of my role however does mean that I am juggling my time between preparing the Stage Challenge team and doing my work experience here at Careers.

The first half of the day consisted of a 7:00am arrival at TSB arena, and a morning spent in rehearsal and preparation. I have some time catching up on things here, and then back to TSB!

Back in the office at Careers, I also started writing a piece on the meaning of journalism today, and its importance to the world we live in. This is an interesting piece for me to think about, and I am looking forward to continuing on it tomorrow.

A huge learning curve for me today was having to split my time! There is something to be said about over committing yourself, and I am right on the edge of being that person! Luckily the staff here have been flexible enough to work the two schedules together, meaning I can do both.
