Greater Manchester Fire Service Leyland & Dodge advanced driving fire engines
I was lucky enough after passing my LG.V. to have a day`s course on the Greater Manchester fire service Skid master fire engine.
The rear wheels were controlled by the instructor to simulate a skid which could end in a spin, it was simply a frightening experience for me as the driver.
I did get used to it but, it was totally unpredictable what was the instructor going to do with the controls !!
