Phaonia jaroschewskii male hind tibia (Pennington Marshes, Hampshire)

This shows the right hind tibia viewed from oblique lateral view and shows the unique configuration of a full row of long anterodorsal bristles (right), a full row of shorter, finer postero-ventral bristles (left) and a number of postero-dorsal bristles pointing directly towards you. No other British Phaonia shows this.
