Kate Dark

Kate appears to be a young widow. She's dressed in black and has a ring on her left hand. In her white lace collar is a brooch with a man's face, probably her late husband. Her age is harder to guess, but there is no gray in her hair and no obvious wrinkles in her face, although most detail is missing from the light skin areas.
