Tisha, a medical imaging tech, was performing an outpatient procedure on a patient and noticed the patient seemed exhausted and out of breath. She was concerned and inquired why the woman was so tired. The patient responded that she had walked all the way from Douglass (approximately 15 miles) to the hospital to have several exams performed beginning at 8 a.m. Tisha was so concerned for her patient’s well being that she generously offered to clock out from work and take the patient home later. After the patient finished all of her testing in other departments, Tisha indeed clocked out and drove her home. The patient was very appreciative and so are we! Thanks for caring so much about our patients Tisha!
