After initial painting into Jack Hardwick's red colour scheme and still with the one cab.
This is how it was driven with this huge overhang up front. When Walter Woolfenden bought this crane, he personally drove it from Jack Hardwick's yard all the way up to Liverpool.
Walter never ran it in that configuration again.
When you think about it 60's roads 12ft wide, less a couple of inches and the best part of 35ft sticking out of the front, was quite an amazing achievement.
