Pelkor Chode Monastery
Having spent the night in the grottier part of Gyantse, the bit recently added by Chinse settlers, on the 3rd floor of a hotel with no elevator, we have now checked out and travelled round to the old part of town, to see one of the finest monasteries in Tibet. The line of golden prayer wheels leads into Pelkor Chode Monastery. The red walls around the ridge behind, surround the entire monastery.
