DIY Micro CNC

Custom designed micro cnc with a milling area of approximately 5"x5"x2". It is used for PCB's and high detail 3D profiling. The large Z axis space is to allow for an additional 4th axis to further automate 3D carvings.

 

All linear bearings with exception of the Z axis (LM8UU) are printed in ABS from the makerbot.

 

Frame was fully CNC cut from 1/2" baltic birch.
