Hmm. So I don't love this one- my ideas didn't quite translate but in the interests of experimentation I'm putting it up anyway. :)
What I wanted was for the light from the big top to spill out from the doorway- I used a candle to draw the spirals (it has just this minute occurred to me that a yellow crayon would have done the trick much more effectively) and then used my pencils to draw over it, the colour of course not picking up in the really waxy areas...
Still, some of the texture I like.
