The Historic Springfield Tour of Homes, hosted by Springfield Preservation and Revitalization (SPAR), is a two-day event, May 19 & 20, from 12 noon to 5pm.
In the 40th year of the event, you’ll find 8 homes on the tour open to the public, including five beautifully renovated century-old residences styled with a mix of vintage and modern decor, two innovative new construction homes built to reflect historic architecture, and one gorgeous commercial-to-residential loft renovation.
You can see the homes at your own pace but there was also a guided bicycle tour. The bicycle tour guides you throughout the neighborhood, and includes the homes on the tour, with emphasis on the historical locations, people and architecture.
