The Triangle!
The Triangle, Murrieta's shame, this parcel of land between the 15 and the 215 Freeways since the early 90s has been tried to be leased or sold, originally this parcel was going to be 'Murrieta Springs Mall', a large mall the size of the Temecula Promenade and it was to feature JCPenney, Sears and the May Company (aka Robinson's-May) but Murrieta was stupid enough to cover the project in red tape enough that the mall company, Forest City was snatched by Temecula and well... the rest is history, as for Murrieta, we've tried to get ANYTHING to open in the God damn space, from Ikea, to a large cinema and conference center to big box retailers, so far nothing but weeds and dirt still stand in 'The Murrieta-Bermuda Triangle'
